The Media Enterprise Alliance will enable inner-city public high school students in Oakland to study media, and video production in particular, with an idea toward acquiring employable technical/artistic skills.
The program will be project-based with the students working for real-world clients. Each project will be taught by professional artist/mentors in the fields of video production, graphic/web design, and photography. These high school students will also be learning how to set up and run a small business, as well as developing the necessary criteria for college admission and job placement.
