The Media Enterprise Alliance enables inner-city public high school students in Oakland to study media, and video production in particular, with an idea toward acquiring employable technical/artistic skills.
The program is project-based with the students working for real-world clients. Each project is taught by professional artists/mentors in the fields of video production, graphic/web design, and photography. These high school students learn how to set up and run a small business, while also developing the necessary criteria for college admission and job placement.
